Well-Known Musicians

We are proud to announce our line-up for the 2025 Aurora Ukulele Festival. Lil’ Rev, The Bird Watchers, Hoapilli & Hula O Puanini, Aaron Baer, the Hix Brothers Ukulele Band, Lisa Mannion and Uncle Jon’s Music will be on our stage this year.

There will be one Point of Sales booth along at the main entrance of Two Brother’s Roundhouse, allowing you entrance into the music area and the workshop areas.

The vendors area will be open to the public and will NOT require a wrist band for that area.

The Aurora Ukulele Festival will be indoors this year, at the Two Brother’s Roundhouse, 205 N Broadway in Aurora, IL.

SUNDAY PERFORMER WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

DOORS OPEN AT 10:00 AM

11:00 am – 11:45 am: Carl Hix: Beatles songs.

12:00 pm -1:00 pm – Lil Rev: 10 Essential Strums: Learn 10 of the most common
ukulele strums to go with your favorite music styles including: Blues, Rock, Reggae,
Bluegrass, Country, Folk, Waltz, Doo Wop, Irish, Calypso and more. This class is open
to all levels. Lots of fun strums to try out your new strums!
1:00 pm- 1:45 pm – Lil Rev: Discovering Bluegrass Ukulele: Join Uke Master
for a fun hour of bluegrass repertoire and style, we’ll strum our way thru some classics,
learn 3 boom-chords, chord slides, muting techniques, 2-3 simple fiddle tunes, banjo
rolls, a clawhammer demo and much, much more. Open to all levels.

2:00 pm – 2:45 pm: Uncle Jon Music: Singalong

3:00 pm – 3:45 pm: Aaron Baer: Jug Band Instrument, (Build a Bear} Workshop.

4: pm – 4:45 pm: Lisa Mannion: “Build a Song with 3-4 Chords”

5:00 pm-5:45 pm: Kevin Presbrey: “Play Cooler Ukulele Chords”

6:00 pm -6:45 pm: The Birdwatchers: “Sing the Strings”
