Exhibit Spaces

We rent 10’ by 10’ spaces for exhibitors. Each exhibitor must supply their own set-up and display material including tables and chairs. A limited number of indoor vendor spaces is available, first-come, first-served.

You will also need to have weights on all legs to hold your tent down if you have one. The City of Aurora will inspect every vendor before the start of the festival.

On the exhibitors’ application form [link], describe your exhibit and space needs plus any demonstration of your art that you plan to do. Artists and Crafters’ guilds working in traditional arts or methods are also encouraged to exhibit as a group.

You can rent a tented space (one-fourth of a 20’ by 20’ tent), or an uncovered space to build your own tent. If you need a larger space, please let us know in advance.

We do not supply tents. Note: there are no tie-downs in the Mall area. You will need to bring sandbags or some type of weight system to hold down your tents.

Electricity is available, on a first-come, first-served basis.  No generators allowed.

The Mall has just been completely renovated and there is very little shade. The festival will continue, rain or shine.

Location and Set-Up

Water Street Mall is located in Beautiful Downtown Aurora along the Fox River, between Downer Street on the south and Galena Avenue on the north. The exhibitor parking area is one block from the festival area, off Illinois Route 25, and Benton Street at Water Street (see map).

Automobile access to the parking area is beginning at 10 a.m. Vehicles are not allowed in the Mall Area. All cars must leave the area by 10 p.m. Parking after load-in will be at the southwest corner of Benton and Water Streets. See map.


Our basic non-refundable registration fee for an exhibit space (uncovered or with your own tent), must accompany all applications. Exhibitors are encouraged to arrive early to set up.

We keep our registration fees low, so we ask that you make an additional donation to the festival, based on your weekend sales. As a guideline, the food vendors pay 6% of sales, and many of our artists follow suit.

Program Book Ads

If you would like an ad in our Festival Program please see our rates and specs [link]. Business-card sized ads are $50 and larger ads are priced proportionally. Please reserve ad space by August 5 and deliver camera-ready copy by August 10. Festival books are printed and distributed to everyone who attends the Festival.
